Am I eligible for VA x< x!.
To be eligible to receive VA !!!!! identify with the following: You served in the active military, naval or air service and didn't receive a dishonorable discharge. If you enlisted after September 7, 1980, or entered active duty after October 16, 1981 , you must have served 24 continuous months or the full period for which you were called to active duty, unless any of the descriptions below are true for you. This minimum duty requirement may not apply if any of these are true: o You were discharged for a disability that was caused - or made worse - by your active-duty service, or o You were discharged for a hardship or "early out," or

o You served prior to Sep- tember 7, 1980 If you're a current or former member of the Reserves or National Guard, you must have been called to active duty by a federal order and completed the full period for which you were called or ordered to active duty. If you had or have active-duty status for training purposes only, you don't qualify for VA health care.
What care and services does VA health care cover?
Each veteran's medical !!!! but basic health care services include the following: Preventive care services such as health exams, gender- !!!! education, immunization against infectious diseases and counseling on genetic diseases Hospital services including surgeries, medical treatments, kidney dialysis, acute care and specialized care (organ transplants, intensive care, etc.) Urgent and emergency care services that may include walk-in retail health clinics and an urgent care facility, depending on your VA health facility Mental health services to treat certain issues like post- traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), military sexual trauma (MST), depression and substance use problems Assisted living and home health care (depending on your needs and income as well as space in the programs) Prescriptions written or approved by a VA doctor All veterans receive coverage for most care and services, but only some will qualify !!!!! care. What are VA priority groups, and how do x
When you apply for VA health care, we'll assign you to one of eight priority groups. This system helps ensure that veterans who need care right away can get signed up quickly. It also helps to make sure we can provide high-quality care to all veterans enrolled in the VA health care program. Your priority group may affect how soon you are signed up for !!!!! much, if anything, you'll have to pay toward the cost of your care. Priority groups are assigned based on your military service history, disability rating, income level, your !!.! !!!!!! receiving.
Will I have a co-pay, or is my VA health care free?

How do I apply?
Applications can be submitted online, by phone, by mail or in person at your local VA. To complete this application, you will need the following materials: Social Security numbers for you, your spouse and your ! Your military discharge papers (DD214 or other separation documents) Insurance card information for all insurance companies that cover you (Medicare, private insurance or insurance from your employer), including any coverage provided through a !!!
